Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Medha is a free, community-run study tool for BPSC aspirants — not a commercial coaching service.
What we collect
- From Google Sign-In: your email address and display name.
- What you create in the app: vocabulary words, sentences, saved answers, PYQ "attempted" flags, XP/streak/badges, and (if you use it) the Google Sheet CSV URL for phone word capture.
- If you use AI Feedback (Write tab): the question and answer text you submit is sent to Groq, a third-party AI inference provider, to generate feedback. It is not stored by Medha beyond what's needed to show you the result. Groq retains request data for up to 30 days by default for reliability and abuse monitoring; Medha doesn't fact-check or verify anything the AI says — treat it as a second opinion, not ground truth.
- If you send feedback: the message you write, linked to your account.
Who processes it
- Supabase — hosts the database and handles Google sign-in.
- Cloudflare — hosts the app and the AI-feedback proxy.
- Groq — processes answer text only when you use the AI Feedback feature.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else.
What's private vs. visible to others
Your vocabulary, sentences, saved answers, and PYQ progress are private to you (enforced at the database level, not just hidden in the UI). Your display name, XP, streak, and level are visible to every signed-in user on the Leaderboard.
Deleting your data
Email moneymanager.bkv@gmail.com to request deletion of your account and data, or to ask any question about what's stored.
Changes
This is a small, actively-developed project — this policy may change as features change. Significant changes will be reflected here.
